Kate Martin Sends Heartfelt Birthday Message To Gabbie Marshall
Former Iowa Hawkeyes guard Gabbie Marshall is currently celebrating her 24th birthday. She was previously a team captain with the Hawkeyes, where she had the chance to play with some current WNBA rookies in Kate Martin and Caitlin Clark.
Throughout Marshall’s special day, the birthday wishes started to pour in.
Martin was one of the many people who posted about the now 24-year-old, sending her a kind message about their friendship.
“Happy birthday to one of my best friends forever&ever,” Martin said. “Love you!!!!!”

Marshall then reposted Martin’s message, laughing at one of the pictures that she included while also mentioning that she loves the Las Vegas Aces guard.
“The bottom left, love u,” Marshall said. “See you so soon.”
Marshall played for the Hawkeyes from 2019-24, averaging 6.6 points, 1.7 assists, and 1.5 rebounds per game in her lengthy collegiate career.
Martin played alongside Marshall throughout her entire time in Iowa, as she was also rostered from 2019-24. The Aces guard averaged 8.0 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game throughout her time with the Hawkeyes.
While Marshall has since moved on from her playing days, Martin is still competing at a high level on the basketball court.
The Las Vegas Aces guard currently averages 3.2 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 1.0 assist per game in the WNBA.
