Indiana Fever’s Lexie Hull has dived into the entrepreneurial pool and unveiled her own beauty brand.
At 25, she’s introduced ‘Forta’, a makeup range tailored for the sporty crowd. The WNBA ace revealed she aims to align her creation with her own kinetic lifestyle as an athlete.
Expanding commercial interests like product endorsements have become routine for WNBA top talents. Hull’s friend and basketball heavyweight, Caitlin Clark, has already banked sizable rewards from her business dealings off-court.
With anticipation building for this year’s launch, Hull’s ‘Forta’ promises to marry aesthetic appeal with athletic endurance. “I’m starting a makeup line specifically built for the active person,” said Hull.

Kicking off with the spirited slogan, “You don’t have to sit still to look pretty”, Hull asserts that her line is about more than just external beauty. She claims it’s also about inspiring confidence in motion and demonstrating how you can shine during even the toughest workouts, reports the Mirror US.
The shooting guard has transitioned from leading Central Valley High School to two state championships and securing a national championship with the Stanford Cardinals to being drafted by the Indiana Fever in 2022. She’s quickly becoming one of the most recognisable faces in the WNBA.
The former Cardinal instantly became a fan favourite with the Fever faithful, where she is currently signed to a three-year, £168,254 ($217,502) deal. Hull reportedly earns an annual salary of £56,084 ($72,501). However, the Fever can extend her contract beyond 2025, where she could earn a base salary of £68,276 ($88,261).
While her star is clearly rising, she may be benefiting from her close friendship with Clark, whose status has skyrocketed since transitioning from the Iowa Hawkeyes at the college level to the Fever. Despite Clark being relatively new to the WNBA, Hull and the superstar immediately formed a strong bond.
From sharing posts on social media where they were sampling various soft drinks to Clark even serenading Hull on her birthday in front of their team-mates, there’s clear chemistry and camaraderie between the two. Clark and Hull were even among a few Fever players who took a holiday to Mexico during the WNBA’s month-long Olympics break.

Speaking on the Ringer WNBA show, Hull praised the former Iowa star. She said that while Clark has a humorous side, she is also a winner.
“She just throws out comments that are funny. No one is saying it like Caitlin,” Hull said. “(Her drive to win) shows the type of player she is. If it’s not working she’s going to try and figure it out and you definitely want her on your side.”
Hull is currently competing in the Unrivalled League alongside Chicago Sky star Angel Reese. She will reunite with Clark in May for the WNBA season, as the Fever face off against Reese’s Sky in a highly anticipated opening-day matchup.
