Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark seemingly goes viral on a day-to-day basis for any number of reasons.

But Clark, the WNBA Rookie of the Year front-runner, most likely didn’t expect to wake up and see herself trending on social media thanks to a statue of her made out of butter on display at the Iowa State Fair.

Clark made headlines a few days prior for her priceless reaction to feeding baby goats at the Iowa State Fair with some of her Fever teammates, so it’s only fitting there’s now a life-size butter sculpture dedicated to the former Hawkeyes star greeting fair guests as they arrive.

It’s actually the second straight year that “Butter Caitlin Clark” has made an appearance at the fair; however, the 2024 model is much more detailed and a smidge more accurate than the 2023 version.

A local legend in Iowa, Clark starred for the women’s basketball team from 2020 to 2024. She averaged 28.4 points, 8.2 assists, 7.1 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game over her 139 appearances.

She was a four-time First Team All-Big Ten selection, a three-time unanimous First Team All-American and Big Ten Player of the Year, and a two-time Associated Press Player of the Year, Naismith College Player of the Year and Big Ten Female Athlete of the Year.

Clark led the NCAA in scoring and rebounding twice and ended her career as the NCAA’s Division I all-time leading scorer.
