Brittany Mahomes appeared dismissive toward an F1 driver greeting Patrick Mahomes at the Miami GP, yet many expressed sympathy for her.

The NFL superstar was in attendance for the major racing event.

Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs were really close to make history last February at Super Bowl LIX, as they were looking to become the only NFL team to win three championships in a row.

However, the Chiefs were blown out by the Philadelphia Eagles 40-22, with Mahomes having one of the worst games of his professional career.

Now, the AFC champions are on the path to take revenge and show the NFL that they are a dinasty, with iconic tight end Travis Kelce returning for what could be his last season in the league, with a goal in mind: win another Super Bowl before hanging the cleats.

Brittany Mahomes shows disdain for F1 driver

Patrick Mahomes had himself a Formula 1 race weekend at Miami by attending a beach party, joined by his famous wife Brittany Mahomes. Let’s remember that the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, along with Travis Kelce, are investors of Alpine group, which includes Alpine F1 Team.

And Mahomes was present at the Miami Grand Prix, where he had a chance to have a quick chat with Alpine F1 team drivers Pierre Gasly and Jack Doohan. A video posted on the F1 Instagram profile showed the moment French superstar Gasly greeted Patrick, with Brittany Mahomes next to them.

However, the certified trainer wanted no part of the greeting, as she stood up and walked away from the conversation. Maybe Brittany was still struggling with the effects of having a great night out with her husband and legendary quarterback Tom Brady.

Alpine ends 13th at Miami Grand Prix

Alpine F1 Team did not have a good Miami Grand Prix, as driver Pierre Gasly ended on 13th place. Australian McLaren driver Oscar Piastri won the GP, with teammate Lando Norris coming in second. British George Russell, from Mercedes, ended on third place.

Gasly is currently on the 12th spot of the general standings. Piastri is first, followed by Lando Norris, and Max Verstappen, from Red Bull. The drivers understand that they need to keep getting better in order to be a competitive and hope to earn points on the general standings.

“We’ve definitely made some steps forward from the beginning of the year and we just need to build on that each time we are on track,” said Jack Doohan before the Miami Grand Prix. “We just lack in a few areas, and we know where we can improve the overall package,” added Gasly.
